Our Habitat Improvement Programs

We've formed partnerships to work on two important initiatives. The National Forest Service and the Landaff, NH Conservation Commission are great allies in the effort to care for nature.

Wildlife Habitat Improvement
We, along with the Landaff, NH Conservation Commission, are committed to improving wildlife habitats by building and installing duck and bird boxes for shelter and nesting. A number of our feathered friends benefit from these initiatives, including the hooded merganser and the wood duck.

National Forest Trail Maintenance
We adopted the Tunnel Brook Trail and the Cobble Hill Trail in the White Mountain National Forest. Our duties are to perform maintenance by keeping the trails clear, defined, blazed and the drainage bars cleaned.

We always need good people to volunteer by donating time, effort, materials or money to carry out our duties. If you love the outdoors like we do and want to actively make a better world for plants, animals and people, this is your chance to roll up your sleeves and dig in.

Remember, make a habit of regularly becoming part of the outdoors, and the outdoors will become a permanent part of you!
