Photo of the Month for December 2009 & January 2010
The December 2009 and January 2010 banner picture was submitted by Kira Kenny who lives in Bridgewater, NH. Kira's last picture was of the Mourning Cloak Butterfly
and was featured as a previous Picture of the Month. She's got a great eye and knack for photographing nature.
This brilliant flower was growing in her backyard when she snapped this memorable photo. Wildflowers, low-lying shrubs and many other types of flora are
not only beautiful to look at and fun to grow, but animals like deer and moose feed off this "browse". Important plant life is just one of many reason to
protect your land with an easement, because it can be a critical food for the wildlife in your area.
